Playgroups
Playgroups were established so
that children of the member moms could get together to play and socialize.
An additional benefit is that the moms can also have some time to socialize
with one another.
How do I join?
Contact the playgroup chairman. She will
work with you to match you to a playgroup that best suits your needs.
How often do the playgroups meet?
Each playgroup determines for themselves how
often they meet. It could be every week on a given day, or only every
other week. Check with the playgroup chairman.
How many children are in a playgroup?
A playgroup is usually limited to five
moms. However, each playgroup may decide for themselves what is appropriate.
Where do playgroups meet?
A playgroup usually alternates among member
homes, but they can meet in parks, malls, etc.
Is attendance at all playgroup meetings
mandatory?
No.
